Texas Central, the developers behind the proposed high-speed rail project between Dallas and Houston, could be one step closer to groundbreaking. Officials announced June 15 they have signed a $16 billion contract with Webuild, a global engineering and construction company, to lead the civil construction team that will build the train.
Madeley’s will open around December at 316 Madeley St., Conroe, with four food trucks, in-door and out-door seating, and table service. The park will also host regular events and live music performances.
Land Tejas, a residential development firm that has constructed communities across the Greater Houston area, has acquired 646 acres on FM 2920 between Hwy. 290 and Hwy. 249 to develop Cypress Green, the new single-family home community, according to a June 16 news release.
With city ordinance 2236, homeowners who complete an online application qualify to receive a refund for permit and plan check fees, once their installation is complete and city inspections are approved.
The hotel will include a 15,000-square-foot ballroom, a convention center, lounge and bar, outdoor dining, a restaurant, a pool and a fitness center, and is expected to open in early 2023.
