Spring has sprung in Katy, and I for one am ready! Warmer sunny days, enjoying time on the porch or in the pool, dining alfresco – sign me up!

Our cover story this month is about outdoor recreation all close to home in Cane Island. From hike and bike trails to amazing pools to lawn activities like s’mores and outdoor movies, Cane Island is all about amenities – both indoor and outdoor – in their over 1,000 acre community in Katy. If you are looking for a new place to call home, Cane Island has everything you and your family could want.  Check out Cane Island on page 4.

In May we celebrate mothers, and to help you make mom’s day extra special, Alisa Murray brings us some tips on homemade gifts on page 10. Make this Mother’s Day a memorable one with a thoughtful gift created just for mom.

As we are getting out and about more, we still need to be vigilant about our safety especially for our senior citizens. In absolutely! Senior Living, we share some tips to staying safe and healthy.

And speaking of seniors, congratulations to all of our Katy high school seniors on their graduation!  Best of luck as you enter the next chapter of your lives.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Katy moms, and Happy Father’s Day to all of our Katy dads!  Hope to see you all kickin’ around in Katy!

Absolutely yours,
