The Katy community of Cane Island, with several new sections open and move-in ready homes at or near completion, has added Chesmar Homes to its roster of homebuilders.
Chesmar will bring new homes to Cane Island’s gated section of 60-foot homesites with plans featuring a gourmet island kitchen, expansive family room, home/office space, dedicated media room, formal dining and oversized garage. Personalized design features also will be available.
Chesmar joins current Cane Island builders Coventry Homes, David Weekley Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes and Shea Homes. Starting in the $400s, new Cane Island homes are available on homesites ranging from 55 to 80 feet in width. Model homes open daily. A limited number of homesites also are available on premium, half-acre properties in The Estates, Cane Island’s custom home neighborhood.
Along with its new sections, Cane Island will soon boast an onsite Katy ISD elementary, currently under construction and scheduled to open in August 2022, providing residents with a new school within walking distance of their neighborhoods. Families also attend nearby Katy Junior High and Katy High School.
