Paws Fest Returns to LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch for Second YearLaCenterra at Cinco Ranch, an outdoor lifestyle shopping center, is making a big splash at Paws Fest 2022 – the premier canine festival of Katy, presented by Circle B Veterinary Hospital. The event is set to be held on Saturday, September 17th from 11 am – 4 pm.

As a dog-friendly shopping center with various canine-centric amenities, LaCenterra is thrilled to host the ultimate entertainment experience for dog enthusiasts, local businesses and pet parents for its second year. The premier event attraction, DockDogs® – the independent governing and sanctioning body for dock jumping and dock diving canine performance sports – is also returning this year with more high-flying canine action.

The DockDogs competitions taking place during Paws Fest will serve as their only “National Sportsmen’s Series” event to be held in Texas this year. Guests can watch the series of high-flying canine contests in front of the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. Contests are set to be held at the following times:

  • Onsite Registration/Practice – 10 am
  • Big Air Wave #2 – 11 am
  • Speed Retrieve (All-in-one Finals) –   1 pm
  • Big Air Finals (Pro, Semi-Pro, Contender and Amateur Finals) –  3 pm

In addition to DocksDogs competitions, Paws Fest will encompass various other activities for pet parents and their furry friends to take part in.

  • Dock Dogs competitions
  • Live music provided by Aspire Healthy Energy
  • Dog-friendly drink and lounge area with Bar Louie & Tito’s Vodka
  • Dog costume parade at 2 pm benefitting Best Friends Animal Society and Houston Humane Society
  • Sit Means Sit obedience demo at 3 pm
  • Multiple local canine vendors, non-profit organizations and adoption trucks.

Alongside the activities happening during the festival, multiple local canine businesses, non-profit organizations and adoption trucks will be on-site.

Guests can quench their pup thirst throughout the day at one of our four dog drinking fountains located throughout the center. LaCenterra also has two pet waste stations on-site located by Perry’s Steakhouse and Torchy’s Tacos.
