One of the most anticipated times for Houston foodies is just around the corner. Starting Aug. 1, Houston Restaurant Weeks is set to start and will run through Sept. 5. Participating restaurants will be offering two-, three-, and four-course prix fixe meal options for brunch, lunch and dinner.
“The past couple of years have been extremely difficult for the restaurant industry, impacted by the pandemic, supply chain, labor issues, and the rising cost of food and packaging,” Cleverley Stone Foundation President Katie Stone said in a press release. “Surely the most difficult time for restaurants, employees and the Houston Food Bank. We are hopeful that demand for dining and a return to normalcy will have Houstonians dining out and doing good this summer.
Depending on which meal restaurantgoers select, a certain amount of money will be donated to the Houston Food Bank and help raise money to provide meals for those in need. Brunch or lunch will be $25, and dinners will either be $39 or $55. Read below for a sampling of participating restaurants and visit www.houstonrestaurantweeks.com to view the full list.
